At LASD Studio, landscape architecture is approached as a living system — an interconnected network of soil, water, plants, wildlife, and people. Each project is understood not as an isolated composition, but as part of a broader ecological and cultural continuum.

This perspective is rooted in Designing Landscapes as Evolving Systems, an ongoing intellectual research framework developed within LASD Studio. It explores how landscapes change over time, adapt to environmental pressures, and grow in meaning through use, care, and stewardship.

Equally important is the role of art and history. Our work draws from centuries of cultural and architectural traditions, reinterpreted through contemporary design thinking. These influences are explored in our Styles & Epochs of Art research, which traces how historical ideas continue to shape landscape architecture today.
