LASD Studio works on projects where landscape is expected to align & perform at the same level as architecture or the property.
Our work is primarily focused on private villas and residential estates, including coastal properties, rural fincas, and large landholdings where the relationship between land and built form requires careful resolution. In selected cases, we extend this approach into boutique hospitality environments and cultural landscapes, where spatial clarity and long-term performance are essential.
We are currently active, or available for projects, across Mallorca, Ibiza, Marbella, and Sotogrande, as well as the Costa Brava and Madrid. In Northern Spain, including Asturias and Cantabria, our work often engages more directly with landform, climate, and ecological systems.

LASD Studio is a landscape architecture and garden design practice providing services in Spain, Europe.
At LASD studio each project begins with a careful reading of the site.
Architecture, landform, and climate are considered together. We study the character of the property, its architectural language, and the cultural references that shaped it. Mediterranean traditions, Spanish Revival, contemporary minimalism, rustic finca typologies, and Moorish influences are not applied as styles. They are understood as spatial systems, transitions, experiences, perception of place.

In parallel, we assess Ecological Processes: soil composition, slope, drainage behavior, water demand, and fire exposure are examined as real conditions on the ground. These are not limitations. They define how the landscape must perform.
Design development brings these layers together. Architectural identity and ecological logic are integrated into a single framework. The result is a landscape designed for durability, controlled maintenance, and long-term stability. Not only in appearance, but in function and value over time.
Our work is supported by an advanced in-house landscape architectural software system.
Design, engineering logic, ecological data, and financial considerations are developed together. Material quantities, water use, and construction requirements are resolved during the design process, not after.
This approach brings clarity. It improves technical accuracy, strengthens cost control, and ensures that what is designed can be built with precision.
Practice & Scale
Based in Northern Spain, LASD Studio works on landscape architecture and garden design projects across Spain, Southern Europe, and internationally.
We focus on private gardens and residential estates, where landscape is expected to operate at the same level as architecture. Selected work extends into communities & urbanization landscapes, commercial & cultural projects, and public-facing projects where long-term clarity and performance are essential.
Our role is not limited to visual design. We develop landscape as a complete spatial and ecological system.
When scope and alignment allow, our work extends into landscape restoration and site-driven ecological systems, approached with the same level of authorship and technical precision.
